Factory Window Installation - Sprinter-Forum

I finally have some factory windows on order for installation in my windowless 118 cargo.

Does anyone have firsthand experience installing factory windows in their van? I've searched and found various threads about installing aftermarket windows, but nothing about installing factory windows. It appears the windows just pop into place and are retained by the gasket.

My question is where do I cut the sheetmetal? I'm guessing that I need to cut all the way back to where the metal is double thickness. Can somebody confirm?
