Hey guys,
I am thinking of selling my 04 with 62,600 miles. It's a great van. I have an extra set of rims with Michelin LTX M&S tires that I bought last winter. For those of you who know, I installed a Frantz oil bypass filter on my Sprinter. The oil remains super smooth and clean with the bypass filter, ( one micron or less ) but I am removing the filter when the Sprinter is sold. It's somewhat complicated for anyone else to use. I bought it on eBay from Australia. It took several months to arrive by boat....so I have a funny attachment to it. I also have a Webasto engine heater, to warm the engine before starting in the winter. The engine has never seen a cold start. I simply flip a switch ( it also has a timer ) and wait about twenty minutes, and the engine is at operating temperature. This was done to extend the life of the engine ( as was the bypass ) The Webasto will be removed unless a buyer would like it to remain with the van. I paid $2500 to have it professionally installed, and it works perfectly every time. The price of a new Webasto would be much more today, so $ 2000 seems like a fair price to sell with the van. I have one very slight ding in the drivers door ( the door flew open on a windy day when I got out to fuel, and * very * slightly touched the fuel pump handle ( it's very hard to see ) Other than that it's in perfect shape. I drive very gently rarely going above 2500 RPM. I normally always drive between 2000 and 2250 RPM. A stone recently put a crack in the windshield, so I ordered a new OEM windshield to be installed. I've used fuel lubrication to help the ULD, mainly adding biodiesel and Lucas UCL. I've used good synthetic oil, and synthetic transmission fluid. The van is superb to drive. The van also has a class III Curt hitch. I'm not exactly sure of the price. $25,900 seems reasonable with the extra tires, Curt hitch, and new windshield. If you live in a cold climate, I would recommend you keep the Webasto. Then you would have a beautiful extremely well cared for, low mileage all weather Sprinter that's much cheaper than a new model, and gets much better fuel mileage too. PM me if you have any questions. Last edited by Suba; 05-25-2008 at 09:42 PM. |

I'm looking right now, and that is a good price compared to what I've been seeing out there, but I am looking for an older higher mileage 140" model.

Hey guys,
I sold my Sprinter long ago. I removed the Frantz filter and Webasto S-90. I'll sell my Frantz triple stacker with t paper filters for $250 plus shipping. You can't even buy one anymore. I paid $ 2500 to have the Webasto installed. I'll let it go for $ 800 plus shipping, which is a real steal. It worked perfectly, and comes with wiring harness and computer.
