Thumbs up 2008 V6 Diesel Wagon Finally arrived

We just took delivery of the 144, high roof passenger wagon that we ordered this summer. Don't know if its true, but this year seems to rattle less than the 07 that we test drove. Ordered the suspension seats and love them, we are not tall folks and my wife can sit flat both feet on the floor no problem after adjusting. They are great the way they cushion the small bumps while driving, you do have to dial in your weignt in Kilo's but not difficult, they are also heated. Other options from factory were mobility package with high roof, class III trailer hitch, HID headlights with washers, security system and park sense front, rear and side on the bumpers and in the rear view mirrors. We have rear (center) air conditioning, and seating for 12. Metallic silver color with alloy rims. Did not get the electric sliding door that we had wanted, although the key has a button and the manual mentions how to operate electric sliding door. The overall impression is very good, I get a lot of looks from curious folks when I park. We have already ordered the mercedes conversion kit and I need to find someone to paint the trim pieces on the grill, any help is appreciated.

Issues
I can't believe that I don't have cruise control, must have ordered the wrong package. I am glad to be reading that it can be added after factory.

The parksense for the right side of vehicle is broken always beeping like I am hitting something, I believe dealer did pressure wash and probably broke the sensor.

Didn't expect the seating for 12, the 10 seating looked more comfortable, especially in the rear seat.

I will be seeking input for my next items which will be satellite tv, sound system, gps, bluetooth and back, possibly side cameras. I was planning on ripping out the seats and going buckets, but now think that will happen in future years as the passengers, kids and grandparents are not complaining about the bench seats.

Those sensors annoy me to no end. Those things are so sensitive to dirt being on them that I could never recommend them to anyone. A rear camera is much better IMHO.

My experience with them has been extremely positive. I've had two false positives that I can think of: a leaf and - while idling at a stop light, a baby carriage-pusher strayed out of the cross walk and set off the proximity alert. Other than those two instances, dirt included the system's met my expectations.
