What is a good microwave you people use in your vans? I dont want one that has a turntable, mainly cause once i go over a bump, the table goes flopping about inside. But last night at Walmart, (its the only place I went to so far) sold only turntable ones, and that sucks.
I used to own a non turntable microwave, do they still make em? |

Microwaves are so cheap nowadays, I would just take the tray out and maybe leave it out.

I have a small one with a turntable in it (I don't recall the name right now) and I never have problems with the glass table making noise. If you do I suppose you could always cut a block of foam to fit inside it when your not using it.

I also have one with a glass turntable. Occasionally, I will find that the turntable has "jumped the track" and has slid off the wheeled ring it rides on; it has never made any appreciable noise or caused any problems, other than a few seconds to combobulate it.

I go over many speed bumps, and rather slow I think, however, my cargo is usually a different story :P Things constantly lift off the ground then make a huge "THUMP!!" it really gets to you after a while. How much slower am I soposed to go over those things?! Well, I guess it doesnt hurt to try with the table in first, then if its a real annoyance, on a bad day, I can play frizbee with a brick wall :)

I just wrap my tray in a dish towel.
It drives people nuts when I am on site and my microwave is nuking delicacies into submission! |
