Hello folkies...
I have 3 pairs of custom build solar panel racks for sale. I built these myself less than 2 years ago, no longer need them as I've reconfigured my setup for more panels and auto/tilt. They are in perfect condition, and I'll even remove the oxidation for free! Features: ``````` Light and strong - 1/8" 6061/6063 aluminum. Fits any size panel. Bolts into existing roof rails. Slightly raised to give adequate ventilation. Designed to fit under the Fiama F65 awning! I will sell any quantity. $75 per pair, plus shipping. Send me a Private Message or post here which will email me. Thanks! |

Hi,
I actually not interested in the racks but instead on how to installed the auto tilt for your solar panels. I have a set of 4 solar panels on a 2008 Dodge sprinter conversation and would like to know more about how you got your solar panels to auto tilt. My email is granitegecko4e@yahoo.com cheers, Jesse |

I am interested in the Racks, will they be secure to the van to guard against thievery being that solar panels are expensive. I am interested in getting several large panels and a 9volt DC air conditioner so I could use it directly from the panels when the sun is out.

When these were on my roof it would have been difficult to remove a panel. First, the panels were riveted to the racks. Second, one side of the feet were under the awning and there was not access to the bolts that fixed it to the roof rail. You could drill a hole in each of the side walls of the feet, then place a 'pin' with a hole in one end through and over the bolt heads which you can lock. This would slow down a thief as they wold not be able to put a socket on the bolts. |
