What is it about these things that makes you want to repeat the crime?

Picked up a 2010 passenger window hiroof 144" with a Braun 800lb wheelchair lift yesterday.
40K miles, only used to take a guy to Miami Dolphins games. Sweet deal, but the hangar bearing is singing softly.

Questions:

Is there a market for these lifts? Millennium 2 BraunAbility 800lb commercial grade little use?
Any vision on MB recognizing the hanger bearing issue for out-of-warranty replacement?
Any pricing ideas for my 2008 3500, 38K, no commercial use, 100K warranty, hanger bearing replaced?

As far as I know the center support bearing is not replaceable, likewise the U-Joints. I got a complete replacement driveshaft far heavier duty then stock with replaceable center bearing and U-Joints from Driveline Service in Portland Oregon for $930.00. It was on the shelf and shipped the same day I ordered it. It made the standard driveshaft look like a pencil.

I replaced that hanger bearing (carrier bearing) on my '08 under warranty, but like your idea better if MB comes back with a high dollar fix, thanks.

Interesting. I looked at this on craigslist and tried to buy it from the sellers estate for 30k. They didn't bite at the time. Instead I found my 2011 in south Florida w 4000 miles. I did suspect a value in reselling the lift on eBay. good luck with it. It looked like a nice ride
