EGR cleaning - Sprinter-Forum

I unbolted the Torx screws on the EGR, removed the hose.
But I can't get the thing to move more than 1/8 inch in either direction
Am I supposed to pull it? hammer it loose? It appears to be stuck
Any suggestions?

Yes, I used a 1.5lb lead hammer and slightly tapped on the hose inlet, left then right while pulling up at the same time. It will come but use only a soft hammer, if you dont have one, PM me and i'll send you mine.
