Anyone ever (DYS) service the Onan generator? Does the unit have to be lowered? Any information will be appreciated.

Easy to drain oil , little harder to get it back in but can be done.

I have less than 36 hours on mine and it has been in once for service and still runs funky.

As for service, buy a hand vacuum pump and oil changes become a breeze. Other service can be done without dropping it, but it would be somewhat easier unless you have a lift. |
