Default Onan Generator Maintenance

Anyone ever (DYS) service the Onan generator? Does the unit have to be lowered? Any information will be appreciated.

Easy to drain oil , little harder to get it back in but can be done.

I have less than 36 hours on mine and it has been in once for service and still runs funky.

Describe "running funky". Onans are pretty simple pretty rugged gennies, problems are pretty easy to solve.

As for service, buy a hand vacuum pump and oil changes become a breeze.

Other service can be done without dropping it, but it would be somewhat easier unless you have a lift.
