Sensor locations

This question must have been asked before, but.... Is there a print or software with pictures and locations of the various sensors covered by DAD. I'm very new to working on my '04 HT. Thanks, Bill:thinking:

What version of DAD do you have? On DAD V5X, when you select Diagnostics Help, this page opens, listing the systems that are monitored. When you start DAD Diagnostics, the areas that you can diagnose and the special features will be listed in a drop down menu.

The last few pages of the Wiring Diagram section (8W) of the Service Manual also shows many sensor locations.
(as do the detail pages throughout the manual).

If i were to hazard a (pure) guess, i'd suspect a damaged/slightly-dislodged wheel-speed sensor (one at each wheel, watching the slotted disk)

Which "other warning light"?

According to what Dr. A told me, the DAD is no longer available.
I need one badly. The other option is the expensive DBRIII. Very good tool though.
I thought maybe a DRBIII off eBay would be worth pusuing, but didn't bother because fortunately I do have the DAD and that does what I need. A recent discussion with Doktor A (I have yet to meet that gentleman face to face, but we have had many pleasant and productive, for me, phone conversations) verified that a used DRBIII is probably not worthwhile for DIY purpose. I know you need an optional card and cable to make the unit work with a Sprinter. What Andy clued me into was that not all models accept that card so it may need to go back to the factory for upgrade. When it gets to the factory it often needs other work so the cost of the factory service can go way up.

If I didn't have my DAD I'd consider the Auto Enginuity tool. At one time there was a reduced price on what is needed for the earlier Sprinters. This is a comment only. I haven't researched the pros and cons of the tool. vic
