Monday night my sprinter lost power and the check engine light came on.
I was close to Rancho dodge :bash: So when i got there he told
me it would be 3 days before they could look at it.Let him know
that my business link says i can get in ASAP.He said in 3 days
So i called Mccune in chula vista and talked to Kent.he said he could
do it asap and have dodge roadside tow it over.which i did
but they first towed it to the wrong dodge dealer:thinking:
so it finally got there tuesday morning around 9am by 1pm
it had a new turbo resonator and was ready to go..
Kent was beyond helpful and very understanding.

So it was the turbo resonator crack? Are you going to replace it with the Riordan one or did they say anything about a new and improved one?

Thanks,
Seek

i did call him back later that day after i thought about those questions
but got his voice mail.I was going to ask him if i buy the metal
one and the next time it goes out can they use that part instead.

like others that said the van dropped speed drastically when it went out mine did not, I was going down a slight grade at appox 75mph and it was more
like i took my foot off the gas..it was not that noticeable at first

Ok it is a updated version,
but he also said if i buy the aftermarket one
he would have his tech install that if it goes bad again

Hmmm, updated huh? I wonder when they did the update and what did they do as an update? I know my 2006 hasn't seen the problem yet so I'm curious to find out whether keeping the current one has any merit.

Thanks,
Seek
