We just bought a 2006 G24 and are at the beginning of our cross-country year-long trip. Can someone enlighten us as to how the water heater works? Is there a switch somewhere to turn it on? Does it run off 110? 12v? Propane?
Right now, there's no discernible difference between hot and cold. I know the heater sucks, but I figured we'd at least notice a little improvement when washing our hands
Also, we're newbie RVers. When we first got the rig, we would get to 14+ volts when plugged in. We just had to replace the alternator (corrosion on the ground wire where it attaches to the chassis). Both batteries tested fine, but we only get to 13.6V when plugged in now. Any ideas why?
