The Launch Diagun X431 is a handheld and wireless scan tool that works on a number of vehicles including the Sprinter. I use one on my NCV3 Sprinter. More info here... http://sprinter-source.com/forum/sho...22&postcount=9

It reads Mercedes Sprinter DTC codes, resets Assyst and provides live data info that can be important to view in order to troubleshoot or diagnose problems. It does not have all the capabilities of MB Star/DAS for example it will not actuate the ABS system for brake fluid replacement/bleeding, but it does have plenty of useful features and it is very easy to use.

Some additional info... this unit will work on T1N Sprinters but I'm not certain that it is compatible with 2010 and later NCV3 Sprinters or what diagnostic features will work on these later model Sprinters. These are genuine Launch Diaguns and not some cheap knock-off. Custom Spooling is selling these at basically cost plus shipping at $1125.

I owned a Launch GDX x431 for a few days...WHAT A TURD!

In addition, Their customer service is appalling. Luckily, i purchased it through NAPA and they forced them to take it back. The management said they have a no return policy but the technical service department said otherwise.

It does not communicate with anything and is slower that ****.... STAY AWAY!

I purchased an Autel MaxiDas that works far better and saved $1000.
