Done last time in 2013 by my body shop guy after he hired a glass man to remove old windshield . Then cleaning out rust by means of sand blasting , prime and paint then installing a new one after all set and done ( so I thought).
Same windshield guy did the job recently but I caught the flaw in his workmanship which turned out to be the use of more than needed of Urethane .......He used so much it blocked the drain holes ,pathways and water was just getting stuck in the bottom ( since 2013 till recently)and not draining .
Today i opened up the side passenger molding by the A pillar and a gush of water came out in such a force it gushed down ( was raining all day today ) .
I had to cut the molding in the bottom and sides up about 4-5 inches so water can drain easier . The way it was done last two times it required a new windshield (PPG) and new molding anyway so i just cut my loses and help water drain away .
