Have any of you guy's heard about it?

When I was a caddy- years ago- the golf carts (gas engine)would start when you pressed the go pedal and stopped when the cart did. Same principal.

It does not apply to US because it is only for manual transmissions

Just think of all the diesel we would save in rush hour traffic It is kind of like the new Smart car that is coming out here in the US... It has a 1.0liter gas engine, that get's 29/35mpg... The european version has a .7 liter CRD diesel, get's 65/75mpg... Much better mpg than any stupid hybrid... I just wish the corruption of the gas/oil/epa would be fixed once and for all...

Dear wife loves the little Smart, sadly she has just sold it for more than we paid for it.
We have the new second generation Smart but in gas only.

Canada has had them for quite a few years now, they have their own forum too. Fab car for the bay area in Frisco or down on the Bronx at Queens mini Mafia car great to pimp up with Brabus.

The gas engine is rated at 33/41 MPG's going by the new 2008 EPA testing standards. By the 2007 standards it was rated 40/45.

The diesel would be the bomb though.
