Hi everyone! Thanks for all the support on this forum.
I'll be checking in here every once in a while to answer any questions you all may have. One of our clients with a Sprinter 2500 just called in and told us that he's heard about our website through this forum, so here we are! Anyway, thanks again for all the support! As a thank you, please use this discount code "SPRINT33" to save a few dollars on your checkout. Starting next week, we are integrating a new look to our site, and we will be adding a lot more variety to our products as well. As of currently, we have a brake solution available for ALL the sprinter models out, including brake pads, etc. We will be adding supplemental items such as disc-quiet grease, anti-seize and fluid for those DIY savvy that are doing this work themselves. As most of you know, our brake rotors come fully zinc coated in black or silver to prevent rust. We are implementing a new process that electrically coats and protects the rotors (matte black or silver) which will last even longer than anything on the market! Here is a sneak peak! ![]() Feel free to chime in here for anything and I will try my best to frequent this board. You can also just visit our site at BrakePerformance.com, or call us directly at 1-866-756-5536. Lastly, if you are on Facebook, Like our page and you can stay current with all our promotions, events, and new products. Thanks for the time! -Mike |

So are these considered an upgrade? I'm switching out from 15" to 16" wheels on my 118" high T1N electrician's sprinter. I'm going to put Konis on (my stockers are shot at 70k) and will have to do the brakes too. Instead of a stock replacement set, I'd like to boost performance as much as possible within cost reason.
Can you give me the low down? |

Our rotors are coated in an e-coating/zinc coating to reduce the surface rust on the non-friction surfaces. This is helpful if you live in harsher climates. If our Dimpled & Slotted Rotors are within your budget, I would recommend them. They provide the slots to help keep pad wear even and are dimpled instead of drilled through to help with out gassing without reducing structural integrity. The next step down in recommendation over stock would be the slotted rotors we carry. These still help maintain a healthy pad wear and keep the friction surfaces clean. But most importantly I would not overlook the brake pad choice itself. Because the Sprinter is a heavier and bigger car, we do not recommend the Ceramic pads. They dust less but do not handle the high heat range from heavier cars well. If you are buying from us, definitely choose the free semi-metallic pads that come with the Dimpled & Slotted Rotors, or upgrade to the Premium semi-metallics. If you carry varying loads in your Sprinter, I would put a strong emphasize on the Premium pads as their composition is designed to handle a wider heat range better. Hope this helps! |

Where are the Sprinter Premium Rotors and metallic pads made? Are there any performance data compared to OEM ? Or Wagner, EBS, Raybestos premium equipment? Couldn't find any of this on the site. Thanks
