Oil leak

I have just noticed a minor oil leak. It seems to be dripping from under the head cover to the exhaust manifold and then down to the ground. I only discovered it when I started to see small oil spots on the ground when I drove away.

Has anyone else had this problem? It's an '04 with about 53K miles on it. Is it just a loose or bad gasket?

Might be a bad gasket, but I would first suspect a leaky seal at the base of one of the injectors. It's easy to remove the top plastic cover and look. Look for any evidence of a leak by looking at the base of each injector. Do it sooner rather than later, since if left long enough it could require a new cylinder head.
