The attached document provides guidance for setting the proper twisting force against a threaded component. They were harvested in no particular order.

177 lbs for steel wheels??????
My manual says 133???????
Tom,

My Freightliner 2007 Owners Manual says 177 lbs for wheel fasteners that are bolts (2500 in the US) vs 133 ft-lbs for nuts (used to fasten wheels on the 3500 chassis). I can't remember if the 3500 uses nuts on the front or not.

The attached PDF is "Tyre and Wheel" guidance from the UK, appropriate for NCV3-class Sprinters.

This is the source URL.
UK NCV3 Operational Information

UK wheel fastener guidacne is on page 15 of the attached PDF.

Note:

240 newton meter = 177.014 915 348 pound foot (bolts)

180 newton meter = 132.761 186 511 pound foot (nuts)

PS: Wouldn't it be wonderful if the US service manual information matched the Owners Manual? Wouldn't it be wonderful if both of them matched the technical information populating the service content of bona fide MB repair facilities?

Know your vehicle. Check everyone's work, twice.
