On my 2008 Winn View built on 2007 Sprinter, battery is located in the floor ahead of driver seat, just remove the floor covering and unscrew the plate and voila your battery is there

Thanks Claudalfa, the battery was right where you said. For some reason, I thought it was located under the driver's seat; glad to find it easy to get to. I checked the water level, which was my concern, because I like to keep a float charger on in the off-use times. It was kind of you to reply.

I check battery water level every 6 months and coach batteries do need distilled water every time
Usually half a gallon will go in 2008 and still the same batteries every where and. No sign of failure and we have been full timing for over a year in our View Good luck

In the 2008
Thought the battery under the driver's foot-bed was sealed and the battery under the hood (OEM) was in need of maintenance

I knew nothing about this battery maintenance... seems like I have some reading up to do. Sigh.

Just pulled the cover over the foot well on my 2008 Cargo w/ an OEM 220 amp alt.
I have the 100 amp aux under the hood and an EE8 under the foot-well 100ah. BOTH of my OEM batteries are wet. Each cell (6) took 6 OZ of distilled water. Thanks Richard!! I thought the starter battery (foot-well) was dry. It is wet!! Thank goodness it wasn't dry when I checked.
