Default Sliding Door Grab Handle

I want to install a sliding door grab handle on my high roof crew cab. I ordered -

1 x handle
1 x handle cover
1 x pillar molding with holes
2 x handle base moldings
2 x bolts
2 x nut/clips

Seems like there is a bracket that needs to also mount to the body which will hold the nut/clips - Anyone know how to source the hidden bracket?

Thanks!

Dwayne

Great question! I, too, have factory handles in hand, ready to install. Does anyone have any pictures of a grab handle installed on the B pillar? I see several predrilled holes, but none line up. Cambinos came with the interior panels, so no handles.

On the back doors, installation was a breeze as there were threaded nuts in the pillars. Not so on the B pillars (I have dual sliding doors).

I installed the new molding for the b pillar and clearly identified that a hidden bracket that attaches to the b pillar to allow the clip nuts to attach to would be the only way to install the handle...

Instead - I mounted the handle in the correct position and drilled small pilot holes in the b pillar using the handle hole alignment as a guide. The pilot holes basically are right on top of the rounded b plllar corner.

Drilled out the holes and installed two nut rivets. Used longer bolts and attached handle directly to the b pillar - I believe stronger than the factory handle.
