Hi there. new to forum and need some advice on suspension for a 2011 mercedes airstream interstate 3500. Trying to see if there is a product that can improve the rear suspension to make the ride less "bouncy" in the back on the interstate. While cruising down the highway even a small bump will make the far back seat go up and down a LOT. Any advice appreciated! Thanks

wdjpvaz,
What air pressure are you running in your rear tires? Since your Interstate has dual rear wheels, if you put too much pressure in them, you will get the very hard ride. What tires are on your Interstate? The tire brand can have quite a bit to do with the ride at the rear of the coach. Roger

My 2008 Krystal MH, 2500, 170" wb has Firestone air bags on the rear, installed by Krystal.
Without air in them it bottoms out occasionaly, with 60 psi in the bags, 70 psi rear tires and 58 psi front, the ride is very good, does not bottom out. (I could use 60 & 50, will try) My front axel is at 4100lbs & rear is at 4840 lbs, with full fuel, water, 2 people and maybe 50 lbs of stuff. I know, it is over the GVWR of 8550 lbs but that is the way they built it !!! I guess if the driver & passanger stay home it is OK to drive !!!! I should add that my tires are Conti 245/75 16". If anyone is interested in the Firestone bags, i will get the numbers. Harry Salit |

As sailquik says, check tire pressure and play with that first. If you still feel you need suspension up-grades, give us a call and we will be happy to review your many options. Hope this helps.
