I' ve had the GDE tune now for the few days, but have not gone over 70. I need new tires, I'm getting pretty bald I dont want to push them.
Considering my vans are driven by employees as well, I asked that it not be removed.

How does the Green Diesel Engineering tune compare to the Renntech tune?

GDE tunes are not for sale yet. We are testing them for him. I cant compare, but there are happy customers with Renntech and Custom Spooling as well.

PS - i did confirm the speed is still governed with this tune at 83 on the speedomoter, which was an actual 79 mph on the GPS.

The MPG figures on the scan gauge never worked accurately since the tune. I consistently get 420 miles to the tank. (being lead footed and all!)

I started testing the GDE flash but had mechanical problems with my Sprinter. After replacing fuel rails, injectors, the ECU computer, mass flow sensor and finally the transmission. I will resume testing the program. Green Diesel Engineering is an excellent company to work with. They are willing to work to solve the tune application. They are also a local company, here in Michigan. I will continue to update here as things progress.
