Session Time while Posting - Sprinter-Forum

Hello:

Everyone's session time is set to 15 minutes. Typing a message will NOT reset the session time, while clicking links within the forum will. Idling over 15 minutes will cause the forum to automatically log you off.

If you're typing a message and you go over 15 minutes before hitting the Submit or Preview button, the forum will ask you to relogin.

To prevent this from happening, you have a couple of options...

1. Selecting "Remember Me" when logging in should prevent this from happening.

2. Hit the "Preview Post" button so that your session time resets back to 15 minutes.

Thanks for the tip. On my home PC I do have "remember me" checked. There are times though when I'm on some random CPU and I would not check the box. Luckily for me when I hit the back button all my text was still there

!! I'll be sure to hit preview for "windy" posts from a foreign PC in the future
