I am interested in purchasing a Forest River MB Cruiser (or something similar to the floor plan) I am new to RVing and will be going fulltiming within the next 6 months. I have narrowed my search down to the Forest River MB Cruiser. Unfortunately I have found none for sale. If anyone has one or knows where I might find one please let me know. Thanks.

Forest river only built 350 or so of the MB Cruiser with the rear bathroom. They have always been hard to find.
Mine will be for sale after this hurricane season is over. I bought it new and I use it to work property damage insurance claims after major storms. I am retiring after this year's hurricanes ( if any). Send me a private email if you wish.

They were selling for $30K before the season started, now that it's RV Weather, aren't so many. I do try to track them.

Thanks for the ad listing Randy---I've been trying to decide whether to sell my 2003 mb cruiser or use it another winter---just 20K miles and parked in Boise Idaho. Looks like the price range is 40 to 50K rather than the 30K you quoted?
A general question for the mb cruiser forum---I notice when I empty my holding tanks that no gray water discharges. This is after the black water valve is pulled. I've not tried pulling the gray water first, but that is backwards to protocol. I've read somewhere that some manuf's combine the two tanks. Which makes no sense to me---why then have two to begin with? Comments appreciated, halnet in boise |

On mine the shower and kitchen sink drain to the grey tank. The toilet and bathroom sink drain to the black water tank. The tanks are not combined. If there is water in the gray tank it drains when you pull the gray tank drain valve.

Eureka Mike! You provided my answer, and I like it. I have yet to use the shower, and use little waste water in the kitchen, so my gray water is mostly in the bathroom sink. Hence the reason why minimum gray water release when dumping. That's a relief!
Thanks for the quick response. halnet |
