4x4 ngt with 2000km range - I would buy that sight unseen.dual fuel on both petrol and one bottle of NGT or GNG MWB Cargo van is 1200 KLm
N/America has just on 420 LNG outlets most for governmental of fleet operations/
Based on UK figures as to the extra costings incurred of buying a LNG unit It would take 150 thousand Kilometers to recoup your additional costing.
Based on N/American fuel prices it take 1/2 approx 75 thousand KLM 's to pay for the extra costings involved. or approximately 46 thousand miles.
This is a specific target for both fleet and RV operations that do the longer haul miles.
Tye 316 us not diesel it is petrol but does not require a Ron petroleum fuel to run the engine if using this concept the Mercedes 316 including 310 and 313 will have been designed to run on bio type fuel alternatives. 3 series 4 and 5 series sprinters are available.
This is your future to netting both emission free regulations and 35 Miles to the gallon.
These units are sold in Australia ,however insufficient refilling stations are available out side of the main cities of Vic S/A and Queensland. Extra tanks can be built-in for long range distances up to 2000KLM at additional cost.
4x4 NGT is available as well, This meets all the current Governments requests for both saving on Oil,standard fuels petroleum based, emission requests for 2016 and independence as to reliance on imported fuel stocks, thus the Mercedes Sprinter has all of the required requisites to break the never ending cycle of the American addition to oil.
The question is ! Why are they not available through dealerships? or could a gold plated salesman even know how to present the sale to a customer to win the client over to signing the paperwork as to SOLD.
Don't confuse NGT/CNG; as to LPG .No Ad-Blue is required.
4x4 come 4 cylinders with 6 speed manuals
Includes dual cab chassis trucks.

Wonder how long Mercedes will allow this your not supposed to know about it.
The extra tanks are another 3000UK pounds, but for a long haul operator worth it.4x4 ngt with 2000km range - I would buy that sight unseen.

Not good enough.
MR Benz.
I would love to know what the business rationale is for giving such short shrift to the large American market.
Good point.and to quote DCX in 1999 proir to the relae of the Sprinter. It's really no different with Sprinter as any of the European Auto manufactures, they have so many different models with multiple power train options, that never will make our shores. You can thank the US Federal Government regulations for that. What do you think it costs to federalize a different drivetrain in the same model. Way more than the potential profits in most cases. Don't forget, that is why they are in business, to make a profit.
The other problem, well we can thank Chrysler/Dodge for that. That set us back years by having Dodge involved. Mercedes will get it right. Not overnight, but if there is a market that can produce a strong enough interest, they will build them.
I may be reading too much into your short posting, but you sound understandably disappointed....and here is the answer to it all. No. At least not for the forseeable future.
Ha!I may be reading too much into your short posting, but you sound understandably disappointed.
I was waiting for the second shoe to drop: "..and they'll all be white."
thanks for the report

And MB's strategy for 2001-2003 of using Freightliner is supposed to give us confidence in MB's marketing genius for NAFTA Sprinters? The other problem, well we can thank Chrysler/Dodge for that. That set us back years by having Dodge involved. Mercedes will get it right. Not overnight, but if there is a market that can produce a strong enough interest, they will build them.
Lets get the historical facts correct. And MB's strategy for 2001-2003 of using Freightliner is supposed to give us confidence in MB's marketing genius for NAFTA Sprinters?
