Hi Swattley,

The fluid required for the Hydraulic control is MB sheet 345.0
0.5L of fluid is used. This is normally not required to be changed unless the hydraulic pump has been replaced.

To check the oil level,

1 Separate connector (electrical power) to hydraulic pump
2 Depressurize the oil pressure by switching on the ignition, and shift through all gears until the transmission is depressurized.
3. Unscrew oil inspection screw from hydraulic reservoir. (Plug at bottom of reservoir.)
4. Fill with oil at oil filler (plug at the end of the reservoir) until oil escapes at oil inspection opening.
5. Replace sealing rings.
6. Refit plugs.
7. Turn on ignition and operate all through the gears.
7. Fault codes may have been generated during this process and will need to erased by using a star diagnosis machine or similar.

If you meant the sprint shift gear oil then that is another story.!

Cheers

Ross
