This post / thread is here for folks to post less important but still very interesting (ie worth holding onto!) Airstream Sprinter Westfalia (Mercedes James Cook outside North America) related Links.

Questions, general discussion, etc. would probably best be posted to their own threads.

TheVAP - Vintage Airstream Podcast

http://www.thevap.com/

Bit of a stretch for this forum but still worth checking out. The Vintage Airstream Podcast presents downloadable internet radio shows about Vintage Airstreams. There is a focus on trailers and vintage so we may never hear them mention the Westfalia but there is lots of great discussion of camping, travel, repair, etc.

Eberspacher Diesel Fired Furnace

The following is archival:

*****
From sticker on coach heater (underneath vehicle)

J. Eberspacher
Made in Germany
Airtronic M
D4S
Diesel
40W 12V
3.5KW

Sticker info. is actually an auxillary sticker on the outside of the
mounting metal box manufactured (presumably) by Westfalia. The
actual heater unit sits within that metal box, which is mounted
underneath the van (next to the diesel tank, below the awning window).

In North America, additional information can be obtained from
http://www.espar.com (a subsidiary of J. Eberspacher).

Technical information (35 pages pdf) can be found at

RV Covers Direct claims to have a cover for the Westfalia

http://www.rvcoversdirect.com/

Go to styled to fit covers and select Airstream, then Westfalia.

It would likely be important to confirm with the company that this cover is the correct fit for the Westfalia before ordering it.
