cargo partition with walk through door real long

I would be interested to hear about any other options, these are all the choices
that I have found
from my hours of research:

The factory (Mercedes) offers an (MSRP $1000) option for a sliding door but it
deletes the right
air bag. Deletes the right seat and seat pedestal and adds a jump seat (that is
bolted to the
partition wall) in their place. The only way to get from the cab to the cargo
area is you have to
use your ignition key. A lever in the cargo area allows cab access. The sides
are plywood
rivited to the cargo partition provisions. and the door is aluminum. I've looked
at one real
close, and it looks to me like (if you have a normal Pass. seat) the lock to
get into the back
will be dead center on the Pass. seat. Why the factory does not make the key
hole higher I cannot
figure out. The key hole would only need to be say 8 inches higher. With this
option the front
seats are in full upright position with no chance of reclining. List price at a
Dodge dealership
for buying all the parts seperately for the partition only (no jump seat) is
around $1629

I keep getting varying answers to my questions so some info could be wrong
especially how the
partitions attach to the vehicle.

Ranger Designs in Canada (between $980 and $1064) head office 800-565-5321 or
514-341-5321. The
distributor in Seattle (Ken Gracey at AL-VAN 206-988-6100) raised the price when
I kept showing
interest/asking questions about it. Another dist. is STONEBROOKE EQUIPMENT in
MINNEAPOLIS, MN
612-861-5047 The manufacturer list price $1509 USD. weighs 60 Lbs. Ranger
Design builds an
aluminum partition. "So I've heard" since in rides on slides it does not rattle.
It is only
available for the high roof Sprinters. It does not attach to the factory
provisions. It
sacrafices cargo space to allow a little reclining of the seat. It uses its own
key. It comes
standard with a window but can be special ordered without the window. I asked
the sales person
John at the head office in Canada if they have web presence and he said no. I
was able to find
one little blurb about it is on PDF page 9 at the following web address:

Nevlen ($579.00) Factory sells direct to the public 800-562-7225. weighs 165
Lbs. ground
shipable in two boxes. 14 guage powder coated steel. It uses a filler panel for
the high roof
which means a short height door. this one rides on slides and uses two doors
that slide each way
away from the center. Partition sits back 7" from the stock partition location.
The person I
talked to at Nevlen said it attaches to the factory partition provisions.

adrian $308 to $348 plus $28 3 panels can be solid or perforated 16 gauge
steel. Door swings open
into the cargo area. Center panels can be fixed or hinged (ASPA6-2 locking door
hinge kit extra)
as doors with keyed handles. High roof adds a filler panel so it has the same
short door problem.
partition sits back 4" from the stock partition location. Mounts to the factory
provisions and
screws into the floor. http://www.adriansteel.com/sprinterpart.htm
