Default North American NCV3 Safety Recall H02 - Crankshaft Position Sensor

Out-Take:

2007 (VB) Dodge Sprinter
2007 (VB) Freightliner Sprinter
NOTE: This recall applies only to some of the above vehicles equipped with a
3.0L diesel engine (“5” in the 8th VIN position). Involved vehicles can be
determined by using the VIP or GRS DealerCONNECT functions.

The crankshaft position sensor on about 6,000 of the above vehicles may have
been manufactured incorrectly. This could cause the vehicle’s engine to stall or
not start under certain conditions. Engine stalling could cause a crash without
warning.

Labor operation: Replace Crankshaft Position Sensor 08-H0-21-82
Hours: 0.2 hours
