Although I have had my Icon 24D for 1 year, I am just joining this forum. Thought I would share my modifications that I made. I bought and installed the RemisIII accordion front and side cabin window curtains and is a much better solution than the drape covering up the cabin.

I also wanted to improve the highway handling, rocking of coach and crosswind stability. I had installed an additional rear sway bar forward of the axle and HD adjustable rear shocks (ordered from Upscale Auto in Oregon). Front shocks are not yet available. I was impressed with the improvement of all 3 factors and would recommend it.

Am considering getting an engine management module to improve mileage (1 mpg better) and power and torque (15-18%). Has anyone installed one to their satisfaction?

Hi, can you please tell me where you ordered the RemisIII? We have the Pulse 24D.
Thanks, Heidemarie

The Remis III can be ordered thru:
https://eurocampers.3dcartstores.com/Sprinter-Remi-Cab-Window-Shade-Kit-for-2003--2011_c_46.html

You need to drill a hole in the dash and about 4 into the window frame, but the install went well and not too bad. They are great and opens up the RV inside by not needing a curtain.

Do you have Driver and front passenger thorax air bags and window air bags ? I was told if you have em, you cannot add the remisIII, Do you know if thats true?????

I have no idea what type of air bags I have; my Sprinter is 2008. I can tell you that Winnebago has been installing the Remis in their Sprinter chassis coaches; that is where I 1st saw them as I was shopping for a new RV. They do not displace much space, so I cannot see how they could obstruct the functioning of the air bags.

Im guessing that Winnebago does not have the optional thorax an side-curtain air bags, as it looks to be located in the window frame that the Remis are screwed into. I would love to have the RemisIII:drool: if possible

I did not add an air suspension, but did add:
1. front facing anti sway bar
2. new adjustable rear shocks
3. coil spring helpers for front shocks
4. rear leaf helper springs

The parts came from Upscale Auto in Tulatin, Oregon
