I'm looking for double pane windows that will mount to a thin wall. I like Peninsula Glass's 1800 double pane series, but they will only work on a wall that is 3/4" think or thicker. I know I could mount a flange to the interior to make it thincker, but I'd prefer to have the window directly clamp both sides of the side wall metal. Peninsula Glass does have versions of their 1600 series that fit the sprinter's window openings, but it is only single pane glass. I want double pane windows so I can more easily heat it in the winter.

How much space is there between the sliding door and the outside wall? I'm wondering if a 2" thick window frame could be mounted in its window space?

1800 series (http://www.motionwindows.com/prod1800.php)

1600 series (http://www.motionwindows.com/prod1600.php)

Sprinter specific 1600 series (http://www.motionwindows.com/special-applications.php) for the older body style.

Cool, and thankyou. It may be awhile as I'm likely to go after a 4x4 Sprinter for the base of the conversion. It would work much nicer with all my expected uses.
