difference sunroof/moonroof

what is the difference between sunroof/moonroof.

what locations on roof of 2007 144 passenger van are they put.

can they be opened and can they stay open if van turned off.

Sunroof = metal, moonroof = glass.

It will probably depend on the height of the roof. If it's the low roof it's over the driver, but if it's the two of the higher roofs the slope of the front will force the sunroof/moonroof to move rearward.

I've seen it in the middle, like here...

Although that could just be a skylight; nonmoving glass. Also, having the camelback a/c on a 144 will probably not let you order a sunroof/moonroof.
