Hi all new to this. We have a 2004 Freespirit with no air on top. Anyone know of a good rack system for Kayak and an easy way to get a 2 person Hobie up there? Thanks

Not entirely easy, but probably better than using a ladder. Post #6 below...

Hi, Ended up selling that Kayak and getting a Hobie tandem inflatable We got a swing away hitch and mounted a diamond plate box on it. My Kayak , pedals, paddles and some other things fit in it nicely. I mounted our bikes on top of that. It swings around out of the way of the back door and the front drops down and doubles as a handy BBq table. We can take it off and leave at the camp site if we don't need it. :)

An inflatable is a good solution.
I think I'm going to the trailer route as I don't want to put it on the roof.

Hello Freespirit -
Sounds like you already have a solution that works for you. Here is another discussion that includes mention of mounting kayaks vertically on the back of a Sprinter instead of putting a kayak on the roof: http://sprinter-source.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10687&highlight=kayak.
