I just saw a FedEx Sprinter that had LED side markers where the reflectors were, plus one on the pass.side between the passenger door and the slider, and one on the driver's side just rear of the fuel door. It looked really cool. I gonna try to find some pics. I must have them. More lights to burn out.

The side LED markers have a very high density lighting capacity they sure stand out in the night for at least twice the distance, should be compulsory on vehicles today, and the best part of LED is they last no less than eight times longer than the trad/bulb
The down side is they are expensive to buy, there are cheap ones and high quality fully waterproof ones.
I have these on the rear as well.

Did you just tap into the tail light harness, or are they on a separate switch??

With the MWB unit these are not equipped with side lighting as mine is a import direct from Austria [Not Australian] The LWB units have the standard side three of side markers ,but they are not active for Australian ADR rulings
As to my Sprinter they were purchased locally for ambiance codes installed from a seperate fuse relay by passing all of the Mercedes Electronics and linked to this fuse box which has a seperate on off switch to run at night
The rear ones not shown cheaper plastic covers have failed and did not have a high density lighting indicator after ten vehicles lengths from the back of the vehicle, That's me doing it on the cheap so I now have to pay, for the high quality Australian made units, but you get what you pay for:thumbup:
They really stand out for a long distance, especially when there is fog or drizzle about, those LED's cut through the silk of night, and no they do not blind the other drivers as one may think they would.
PS the Mercedes code for direct taping into the tail light allows for one only extra light per side, so I did not take the risk.
