I got the Sprinter Parts rubber mats (missed the 15% off though). There WAS a strong smell when I opened the package - its rubber after all (real rubber I believe) but its fading and now almost gone.

The thing that bothered me was that Canada Customs and/or UPS put a $58 bill on top of the $90-something for parts and a bit more for shipping I paid. That seems really exorbitant; I haven't checked it out, my bookkeeper had just charged it to the company after the call came in that it was 'held in customs'. Isn't this exorbitant??

Do you have a floormat that's compatible with the '07+ passenger van? The passenger vans (and some crew vans) have an air duct running rearward under the center floormat, which makes the center floor more symmetrical than your picture. Note the difference between your pic and this (my) floor:

I like your floormat, but am concerned it won't fit...
Thx,

I ordered one and it will fit with the air vent. Mine has no air vent so it is not as snug on the floor as i would like.

"Today's Tip of the Month"

If it moves about slightly:rant: Use an auto prep-off on the underside of the mat and the floor surface to de-wax contaminates, and place two pieces of self adhesive pads front to rear,or left to right with a Velcro lock from any hard-ware outlet to prevent movement, easy to take off and clean under floor mat when required, especially in the winter periods where moisture is in abundance, then use a auto deodorizer no tobacco smell works a treat by Meguiar's:D: it leaves a pleasant aromic in the van for a week.

We have both in stock. When you order we ask if it is for the "passenger model with air channel under floor" or "cargo model without air channel".

You'll find them here. http://www.sprinterpartsdepot.com/Other-Accessories/c8/p84/Mercedes-Rubber-Floor-Mat/product_info.html

I realize that this offer has ended, but can you get these mats for an 05 Cargo van (2500)? I have seen the ones on your website, but they don't seem to have the center piece like the 07 mats do. I would prefer something with a center mat.

I have a conversion van, how do I know whether it was built on a passenger or cargo van chassis? And is there a difference? Thanks.

I have only seen the 2pc set of rubber mats for your '05 Sprinter. The carpet mats are a 1pc design that does cover the center. http://www.sprinterparts.oemspp.smallbizdepot.com/Interior-Accessories/c35/p38/Premium-Carpet-Floor-Mat-2002-06/product_info.html?osCsid=0cda057f19e8c29a7d1c9a527 c0bb321

Hope this helps.

Great question. Most RV conversions are built on the cargo van chassis.

Here is the difference. The passenger model has factory rear air conditioning, the duct work for this runs under the floorboard between the front seats and makes this center hump a little taller than the cargo model which does not have A/C running to the rear. The passenger model mats are made to go over the taller center hump.

If you have FACTORY rear air then you should choose "Passenger MODEL" when ordering the rubber mats. If you have NO rear air or you have an AFTERMARKET air unit on the roof that was installed by the RV conversion company then you should choose "Cargo" when ordering rubber mats.

Hope this helps and did not just add to the confusion.
