As i have learned, no one cares about DPF(until they have a problem)

Well, the jury's still out for another 8 months or so, but it looks like removing it isn't going to do anything besides obviate the replacement need - the goal of better fuel economy appears - to me at least - to have elluded people.... I do concede that people may be driving with a heavier foot, mitigating the benefit of unrestricted flow, but I think the culprit is further up the system; in the neighborhood of the combustion chamber or engine control logic.

It's a lot of research and effort for nuthin' if ya asks me.
