Many of the US Sprinter Westfalia's seem to suffer from the toilet
pump switch being on all the time. Mine does and I have heard other
folks talk about this as well.
You should be able to easily test this by listening for the water
tank pump sound while pulling up on the toilet foot pedal. In my
case I would almost have to hold the toilet foot pedal up to keep
the water tank pump turned off.
This can be fixed fairly easily by taking the access panel/ cover
off the lower front of the toilet (wraps around the lower front of
the toilet below the foot pedal) and adjusting the switch for the
water pressure pump at the foot pedal. Adjust it so that it does
not come on unless the foot pedal is pushed down further.
