i discovered that these parts are not available from any dealer, they don't even list the part. for all you 07 and up sprinter owners with the headlight washer option, i have made reproductions of the original. i will sell a pair to you for $5 usd + shipping anywhere in the world. the vinyl is the same as that used on new cars as a chip guard on the front painted areas.

Very cool, Bruce!

The next time we get together, I'd like a set.

Why are these necessary? Are you worried about erosion of paint from operating the washer system?

The plastic "cover" has managed to scrape my factory vinyl cover into a "bunch-up" at the 12:30 position.

This is only possible if there is some kind of lateral friction associated with the nominal operation of the washer/cover plate.

If the cover can scrape the vinyl into a bunch, it can abraid the paint.

This happened because the plastic cover is allowed to "float" beyond the perimeter of the protective, transparent material. A "larger piece" might be of remedial benefit.

yes actually i am going to enlarge the design from the original because the headlight washer seems to land in different places on different vans.

ps i am also working on a chip guard vinyl set for the mercedes sprinters (they are different than the dodge ones seen on ebay and not available from what i can find). and i may offer kits for sale here.

Hey BB,

I would like a set of the vinyl stickers. I was wondering if you enlarged them as you said and if they work out better. Please let me know how to send payment.

Thanks
