just thought you would like to see a v6 diesel engine out of the van
before you think its faulty it was driven though deep water as we know water will not compress

Are you able to take a picture of the identifying marks - part number, "made in <wherever>" - on the portion of the turbo charger that faces forward?
The writing on my turbo is "upside down," with regards to the installation position, but mine was made in France (I think) and I have a picture of it at home.... anyway, I'd just like to see that engine's turbo charger.

back in the day, when i was turning wrenches for a living. i had a 300 zx twin turbo come to me with the engine in several boxes. the wife was driving through a parking lot that had some deep puddles from the rain. it blew a rod right through the side of the block! we installed a used engine from a wrecking yard in portland, or. it was the fastest car i ever repaired, aside from some actual race cars i worked on.
