I just filled up - Gas was $3.96, Diesel was $5.05....a buck more for Diesel, are you kidding me.

Where most people drive across town to save a nickel on fuel...A DOLLAR?????

I have been going down to Tijuana Mexico.. Diesel is $2.12 a gallon... Awesome diesel... I get about 10% better fuel economy with it...
Now if we only had one station to chose from like the do in Mexico, we to could pay $2.12 for diesel in the usa...:hmmm:

All due respect to the current 2 posters...

But Mr. Moderator, please close this thread as it's the same as the recently moved and closed "Deisel $4.53..." one.

Thanks..

Yesterday I filled up at Costco with 87 unleaded (not the Sprinter :smirk:). $4.05! :censored: It still hurts.

I imagine diesel would be around the $5 mark as noted. It would interesting on how this plays out. High tech bubble, real estate bubble, and now the fuel bubble.

Ha! Thanks Jon. Nice info.

I've been to the Aalsmeer Flower Auction in the Netherlands. It's huge!

I would not close this thread if Richard and Mobileoilchange can stop bickering.

I like reading Richards posts even if i don't agree with some of them.

Play nice boys.

PS. just saw the head of Tesoro oil on CNBC. Tesoro is making a push to upgrade refineries
in western USA to make more diesel.

Why close it, it's entirely a new topic, albeit still a fuel topic unless you want to close all fuel related topics.

Seriously how is a high price of diesel the same as Diesel being AGAIN.......A DOLLAR MORE!!!!!

Come now it's news that diesel is a WHOLE DOLLAR more that gas, it has never been that way EVER.

If you don't like the thread...move along.

I know. You'd think we'd be in for another Tulip Bubble, but so far, nothing in, what? 400 years?

Did you catch the part about the guy that ate the really expensive tulip - he thought it was an onion - and ended up on jail? Too wild.

I may be wrong, and I probably am, but isn't that the largest Flower distribution center in the world?

I thought I had seen it on the Tele.
Seek, it must have smelled to high heaven in there.

Edit: Yup it is at least the largest building.

It actually didn't smell like flowers.

What sticks vividly in my mind, besides the enormity, is the movement of flowers. The whole place is like a machine. No cart of flower will sit in one place for very long.

The auction center didn't look as chaotic. It was quite civilized and not your normal slam of the hammer, sold action.
