I just purchased a 2004 Sprinter from Lee Dodge of Commack NY- I've only dealt with import dealers to date- Alfa Romeo, Volkswagen, Mercedes, Subaru and Nissan). If Lee Dodge is any indication of how US dealerships are run- I can understand why Daimler got rid of Chrysler and why the domestics are dying.
With the exception of the Parts Manager and the woman running the office each and every member of the staff including the General Manager of Lee Dodge seems to specialize in not returning phone calls, not following up on what they've promised to do, lying, etc. The entire experience has been 100% unpleasant and every single problem was entirely avoidable yet caused by their behavior.
I'll spare you all the details (PM if interested) but if you can find what you're looking for somewhere else- DON'T go to Lee Dodge. A BIG
