Dash cover for 2012 Adventurous

We have a new RT Adventurous and note that the dash, being black, is really hot. We are interested in purchasing a dash cover that would fit. I have looked online, but have not been above to find one that would fit the RT 2012 Adventurous/Mercedes Benz Sprinter. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

I ended up going to AutoAnything and they had dash mats to exactly fit my 2012 RT Adventurous. Only about $40 with free shipping - was the exact on found on the DashMat website. Was $56 there. They were really helpful.

Received the Dash Mat from AutoAnything.com today. Absolutely fits perfectly. Very satisfied. Bought the Limited version. It's light weight, but covers the dash and area around the odometer nicely. Comes with velcro to hold it in place, but we decided not to use it. Do not really need it to keep the mat in place.

I noticed when ordering a Dashmat, it asks under "options" whether the van has Parkatronix and a "lid" or not. The Parkatronix I understand but what lid are they referring to? Thanks!

Hi, the 2012 Adventurous has an open pocket on the center dash, so you would order without the lid and without parktronics. We are on a Route 66 tour and with the hot weather, especially in Oklahoma, Texas, etc. it is really coming in handy! We ordered the grey and it is keeping the dash from heating up (since the dash is black). Really glad we bought it!

Thanks Patti1819, our Agile has the same open pocket in the dash. We've been covering the dash with towels when parked but the mat sure will be nice. Enjoy your trip!

We just receive our Dashmat and have been disappointed for what was charged, for what we receiived. Previous vehicles we have owned that had Dashmats we were completely satisfied but it appears the Sprinter cover lacks coverage. The mat seems to be short on front-top dash coverage, still requiiing towel usage. Just my 2cts.

Hi, sorry you weren't satisfied. Did you get the Limited version? Our's fit perfectly amd we don't need to use any towels - no open areas and it stays in place without having to use the velcro that was included.

Patti1819, It's no ones fault but I don't remember any "Limited" version option...did I overlook a ordering feature? Our mat stops at the back of the dash storage(?) recesses and doesn't go beyond the tops of the AC vents. Quite a bit of area still unprotected. How much does the Limited cover?

P.S. I went back to the Dashmat site and I see the Limited option. Does the Limited cover more than the Original Dashmat? With thr same options the price is almost identical. If I knew how to post a picture I would. Can you post a picture of yours? We may re-order if there is more coverage with the Limited.

It's easy to post a photo. Click on Reply, scroll down to Attach Files, then click on Manage Attachments to find the photo on your computer. There is a size limitation, so you may have to crop it or reduce the size before you can post it.

I contacted Dashmat and they told me the pattern is the same for both the Limited and Original, only the material is different. So I guess that takes care of that LOL Thanks for the replies!

Patty1819, thank you for the great pictures! Your DashMat looks like the coverage is the same as ours. I guess it would be hard to cover more of the dash with those open tray areas. The cover does protect a large area,
