I'm finally getting my van close to finished and wanted to show it off a bit. It has a 1" marine plywood floor, and is Line-X throughout. I'm just finishing up the door and wall panels and the shelves.

Just a suggestion. Use wire closet shelving like the stuff below. Turn it upside down, rail to the interior, Mount it to clear your interior lights with the plastic brackets against the wall and Use .42 Safety wire to connect the interior edges to the roof bows.. Great storage for Helmets, Sleeping bags, umbrella chairs, Hang your gear on it (at the wire supports.) I wish I could take credit for the Idea, but I got it from another Motorcycle racer. Use Safety wire pliers to twist the wire for a "finished" look..

$1000 and the operator cried about it the entire time. I have to admit that the masking was a nightmare. Told me it took four times the coating of a full size truck. I'm hoping it added some substantial weight as my van is awfully light in the rear.

are you putting in wheel chocks?

Like it. Not thought about just spray liner instead of ply lining before. Must be at least as strong and also help a bit reducing NVH? Only cons I can see are cost and impact on body repair access.
That would've cost quite a bit more than the $1,000 equivalent here. More like double infact.

Cosmetics. durability. sound deadening.
Cosmetics. durability. sound deadening.
ease of cleaning (100%waterproff)."neat stuff".
I had it done!, covering the floor , wheelwell humps, and the walls up to the L-Track, 2 feet 2''.
Cost me $1000. with added colour and sealer, after negotiating from $1200. Price goes by area. yuu! got a exellent price!
Befor Line-Xing, i preped the cargo area by.
1. I removed corrugated wall coverings, up to the bottom of L-tracks, in it's place i installed 1/4" tempered masonnite, using WHS, (wide head screws) to fasten it, not befor...
2. installing cotton sound / insulation panels, held in place with a spray adhesive, not befor giveing thought, of any other reason to be in this area befor covering.
3. Installed the three bench seat floor Brackets.
The product is sprayed on, out of a 55gal. drum, @ "400 degrees", cools fast to a workable temp., allowing tooling and clean up. Took 8 man/hrs.+- , of work. 24Hrs. to harden.
If they used 2ga. to 3ga., added weight 16lb to 24lb is my guess!
The little research i did showed that Line-X , and Rhino Liner, probably same chemistry, just a diffrent franchise, both are good!, others not so good, IMO.
Wife loves it "thinks it's just what the Sprinter needed" ; when she asked how much? Her look;......:shifty:,...... Now Wife wants a Benelli SuperNova Tactical " it's for life saving". I'm:bounce: cool with that! Now we are shoping for one.

The D-Rings on the floor I bought from US Cargo, they are not standard. The floor is bolted down to all of the stock threaded hard points in the floor so I didn't have to drill any new holes. I also used several beads of silicone on the underside so the floor is essentially glued down as well. It's rock solid, and doesn't rattle a bit.
I'm a slave to Italian bikes. When i go to the track my bikes will be inside but I will probably be pulling a small trailer with friends bikes as well. Here are my two bundles of joy. A 2001 Aprilia RS250, and a 2010 Aprilia RSV4.

Any chance you could post a picture of the van with both bikes in them? Thanks

That shelf idea is a pretty good one. :hmmm: I may have to borrow it. :clapping:
I recently got my Sprinter. So far, I have installed a wheel chock. I'd like to keep my motorcycle hauler as bare as possible. I don't want a lot of stuff getting carted around. Modular, light, and easily loaded/unloaded is my plan. My van already had the logistic tracks installed. I used two of the bolts in the tracks to fasten the front support bar of the chock. I need to research a bit more to see if there are any solutions to connect to the S-tracks so that the support bar can be quickly removed yet still secure.
