I have the 170" WB Extended cargo so it 18" longer than a reg.170" WB and has a longer over hang past the rear wheels. On top of that I have the step pad and a trailer hitch.
After loading my Drain cleaning equipment and plumbing stock the rear end lowered a few inches, I'm not sure how much since I did not measure it before I loaded it.
The truck handles fine and dose not feel hard on the road, but I keep hitting the trailer hitch when pulling into customers driveways if they are up hill.
I don't have access to a truck scale so I don't know if I am over loaded. The truck looks level to me. :idunno:

Crikey! Give a guy a Break,,, I went a away for a few days and you get all hung up on a Customers drive way:tongue: who will do a runner, and not pay your Bill:rolleyes:
The longer the over hang the more chances you will bottom out,. Mine does it!as the photo shows, so your not alone. and it's a MWB unit.
The incline at the bottom of a level drive means your trying to go up a 45 degree angle drive way

3479 Part of your problem is your under sprung, units like yours should be running three springs in the rear, and your not.
The solution is to put pump up shocks in the rear , it jacks the body up and keeps it more rigid ESP will not be effected buy it a heavier rear stabilizer also helps to prevent the sway on the rear end, again but sorry , this is why we have 518 CDi units Five tonne
Just to give you an idea! Look at this Sprinter real close it's higher three springs but also look at the massive stabilzer bar underneath

Tab380,
the badging for yours is 318CDi.
The one shown is a 4cylinder with 150HP, hencex15. Yours is a 6cylinder with 184 HP, hence x18.
According to the Owner's Manual Addendum Card found with my manual. The 2500 Version has a GVWR of 8550lbs or 3878kg. Therefore it is a 3.5t(metric) van, hence 3xx.
Correct badging-->318CDi
The 3500 Version in the US has a 4531kg rating (418CDI) and also a 5003kg rating (518CDI), depending on the spring setup.
Cheers SprinterUSA

I don't want to change the grill to MB because of being a service truck and the customers think Plumbers charge as much as Doctors already but I would like to put the proper number badging on the back door and maybe on the dodge grill. Is that possible to get just the numbers?

Being in a very strange and humor type mood:smilewink: Don't want to change the grille because it's a service truck and customers may think I charge too much:laughing:
DUDE YOU DO:lol:
So if your getting defaults, from the lower classes, then you may as well go upmarket and get paid by flaunting the BENZ STAR.
Badging on the rear is no problem 318 or what ever takes your fancy! looks better than that silly CRUD thing on the back
Be like Richard bang the Benz and enjoy the thrill of the hunt, and charge by cash on completion or at least get a deposit up front:bash: you need to talk to a one minute manager, on how to get it right.:professor:
Richard PS there are no numbers on the front grille on your model

I highly doubt that you are even close to the rate of doctors and so on. But I leave that decision up to you. I never cared to much about what somebody else thinks about my truck. Most people though are plain impressed by the shear size of it. The MB badging gets noticed later or not at all.
Yes, the numbers can be purchased separately. Not sure about the states. I will get mine from good old Germany.
On second tought, you might be able to get those from SprinterParts-Depot or SprinterUSA. Just have to concact them.

Nope, not the same. I am using SprinterUSA on other Forums. Have done so for a quite some time. Only here the name was already taken. That why I added the number 1.
