I need a few parts for my low roof 144wb ncv3 conversion, specifically, aux. battery tray, the rear door covers that support installed windows, the wrap-around b pillar trim covers, and the black foam blocks that to at the top of said pillars. I tried mopar-wholesale.com and didn't have much luck. Anyone have a good parts source they can recommend?

What bothers me about https://www.dodgeparts.com/oe_parts_catalog.html is that the customer MUST know more than the website designers for Sprinter parts.

The 90 amp alternator shouldn't be part of my choices. I don't think the 150 amp should be there either, but I don't know. I just know that my own van was built with the 220 amp alternator in mind.

I know for a fact that the 90 amp alternator was never built/spec'd for 2007 Sprinters bound for the Canadian/US markets. Unless the customer is way more educated than the average American owner is about their car, the customer's in for a rich and diverse adventure in frustration.

I'd pay a premium to deal with someone that actually understands the products they sell and understands the vehicles for which the parts they are selling were designed.

I've found cheaper (by just a little bit), but also found the cheaper places to be a waste of time - cancelled orders, delays, wrong parts, etc. You need someone you can call and give a VIN to that knows how to look up Sprinter parts.

There are a lot of different B pillar options, for example Consider finding what you want on e-bay and using that VIN. It's unlikley you'll suceed any other way, actually, if you are trying to add options that are not under your VIN.

Dodgeparts.com requires a VIN when you order. They used to be someone you could call, but were sold a few years ago to a place on the East Coast that bought a bunch of other similar businesses. Not sure if there is someone you can call anymore, or if they know anything about Sprinters.

I'm sorry, I have to say dodgeparts.com storefront is at the very least hazardous to the Sprinter owner trying to figure things out with only an owners manual and (the consumer) with no awareness of www.techauthority.com, www.sprintertekinfo.com or epc.startekinfo.com.

We're used to going to auto parts stores, picking up a Haynes manual or a Chilton's shop manual and having very few land mines to avoid. Sprinters are full of land mines.

I remember asking a Ronal USA sales guy if some wheels would fit my 2007 Sprinter. He said that Ronal is an OEM for MB wheels and my Freightliner Sprinter is, in fact, an MB product and they'd fit. I asked how many holes there were for the studs (not lug bolts, but studs) and he said, "there are five holes in all Sprinter wheels and the bolt pattern fits the studs perfectly."

I just said, "thanks" and hung on him.

Very few of us really care about Sprinters and too many vendors in the US and Canada have zero skin in the game.

I still use them for another vehicle. In the past, when they were in WA, I got a call once saying the part on the website that I ordered wouldn't work for my VIN, and they were going to send something different. Notice that specific part numbers are rarely if ever on the site. Basically, by entering the VIN, they are saying they will send the right part and guarantee that, even if that's not what ends up in your basket. It's not built into the ordering system, though. All this warm fuzzy stuff was when they were in WA, though. Not sure about new place, though I did get a recent batch of parts from them just fine - not for the Sprinter, though.

Does Berry Sprinter still sell Sprinter parts? They were a Dodge dealer.

I've been buying my Sprinter maint parts from local MB dealer. Not only has it been the cheapest option by far when you factor in shipping, but I get the cool MB holograph on my boxes. Burned too many times by aftermarket.

That's exactly the problem, they give me a list of part numbers and can't really tell me what is what. I even emailed them pics of the pillar trim from jim lawyers photos and still had no luck. I did end up ordering an aux battery tray and the covers for installing rear door windows, just today. I have my fingers crossed on those.

Like I said, if you are looking for equipment that didn't come with your van, then you need to locate a van that has what you want and get the VIN from it.

At this point what I am looking for is the full wrap pillar trim for the b-pillar, and the black foam blocks that go at the top. I'll attach two photos, the first is what I have now, and the second is what I want. My van is a low roof 2007, like the van in the second photo.
