Yo Max are you out there? (312 Diesel is gone). Finally got around to doing the anti roll bushes that everyone said is easy as they were an advisory on the MOT. It is now due in a month and I've only done a couple of thou so they wouldn't have changed much. They will not move and are tight as a ducks ass so how do I get them off? Do I even need to? I reckon he was just putting something down for the sake of it.
Is there a special tool? I could make something but more trouble than it's worth.
Help:idunno:

hi pauly:cheers: its good to see you back on again.

they are easy to do its just a half circle piece with a hole for the bolt and on top an piece that fits into the body.
maybe yours are rusted or seized somehow?if so just be careful you don't bust the bolt use wd40.

max.............

Ah. Maybe I'm thinking of the wrong ones - I was trying to do the 4 at the ends. Which ones did Mr MOT mean?

Just looked - it said 'slight movement from anti-roll links' so I guess it's the ones I'm trying to do.

maybe its these ones too?:hmmm: its best to change all 6.the one pictured and the one below it are pretty hard to get off,i just ripped them with a knife and long nose pliers.

putting them on is fairly difficult how i did it was to cover the rubbers in washing up liquid and press them back on with my boots but by hand is hard.
just cuss alot it helps.

max.............

sorry forgot the pic.

just to add take the arms off and fit "squeeze" the rubbers through that way it gives you more leverage but remember which way the go back on as they are curved.
when i was putting them back on i lined up the round part with the receiver and pushed on with my boots.
hope you know what i mean:hmmm:.

Cheers Max. Gotta say yours look a lot sloppier than mine, mine don't move and there's certainly no gap. If I do start swearing it'll have to be in a Bristolian accent, probably not as effective as a Dublin one
