Hi,
This is my first of many posts about some upgrades I have done to my sprinter.
This first one covers a project I did to get swinging sun visors in my sprinter.
I went to my local junk yard and looked around and found an early 2000's Ford passanger van. They sold me both visors for $15. I made some Blocks of wood and my belt sander and made "plugs" for the holes the old visors went into and covered them in some fabric that I picked out for my shelves, Thats a later thread. I also had to change the angle of the mount just a bit for the new visors so I again made a wedge chaped piece of wood and covered it. I had to drill a large hole in the head linder :yell: (Boy I don't like doing that) for the spring mount on the Ford's visors. The clip ended up being right on top of one of the filler wedges. I used long self tapper screws and predrilled to mount the springing end. Here are some pics. Sorry if this isn't a very good explanation :idunno: I will gladly answer questions about it. They work and look great!
