Adding Cruise Control

Got a buddy of mine buying a 2002 FL Sprinter. Base Model, low roof 140".
Apparently it does not have cruise control, and he'd like to add it.
Any one ever done this? Is it just adding the stalk and plugging it into the harness and enabling cruise in the computer??? Or???

If your definition of "just" includes the trip to the dealer to pay for the specialized procedure to "enable" the cruise function-then yes. Doktor A
